Control network access to remote sites and data center equipment with IP-based

remote power management. The Sentry family of switched cabinet power distribution

units (PDUs) enables network access for remote power management to reboot servers

and network gear individually or as a selected group. Additional solutions for the

data center equipment cabinet can be integrated, including input current monitoring,

pass-thru console port access and environmental monitoring.

FEATURES

• The Sentry CDU Family meets the UL 60950-1 requirement for branch

circuit protection

• Exclusive true RMS current monitoring is critical to preventing overloads in

high-density computing environments; LED digital displays on the CDU enclosure

report the input current of each phase or branch circuit for simple

load balancing

• The Switched CDU supports two external 10 ft. (3 m) probes. Each of these

probes measure both temperature and humidity. Receive SNMP-based alerts or

email notifications when conditions exceed defined thresholds

• The Switched CDU family has the capability to daisy chain units together; the

Expansion Module provides the ability to link two power circuits under one

IP address

• Remote configuration and management of outlets. Reboot a single- or

dual-power server with one command. Receive SNMP-based alerts and e-mail

alerts when power or environmental conditions exceed thresholds. Assign users

specific access rights to designated outlets or groups
